I decided to do my blog on Salma Hayek. The idea came to me this weekend after I got done watching Grown Ups, which she stars in. Salma Hayek was born September 2, 1966 in Mexico. She first became famous in Mexico after she starred in "Theresa" a soap opera. Salma left Mexico in 1991 and moved to L.A. in hopes of furthering her career. At first Salma was discouraged, she was having trouble getting jobs, and didn't land any huge movies. In 1995 she got her big break and starred on Desperado. Since then Salma Hayek has appeared in many movies. In 2009 she married Francois-Henri Pinault. She is continuing to further her career, and is a great role model to many young kids today.
